Voice Communications Policy
How Insuriant AI places and receives telephone calls, including automated voice assistance.
This Voice Communications Policy describes how Insuriant AI places and receives telephone calls in connection with the Services, including calls handled by licensed personnel and calls that use automated voice assistance. It is provided for consumers, agencies, and communications-platform registration. It supplements our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and AI & Automation Notice.
1. Identity
Calls are placed or received on behalf of Insuriant AI. Where a call relates to a partner agency, that relationship may also be identified. We do not mask or misrepresent caller identity.
2. Purposes
We use voice communications to:
- Provide insurance intake, education, quoting support, servicing, and customer care
- Continue a workflow begun on the web, including digital companion sessions
- Deliver operational or transactional notices that reasonably require a call
- Support quality, training, safety, and service improvement, subject to the recording practices below
- Address operational matters with network members where appropriate
Outbound marketing campaigns that use artificial or prerecorded voice, if offered, are conducted only with the consent and configuration required by law.
3. When we call or accept a call
We place or accept calls when there is an appropriate basis, including when you:
- Call us
- Request a call or callback
- Provide a number for contact
- Consent verbally or in writing to be called
- Have an existing service, account, or membership relationship that makes the contact appropriate
- Are contacted as permitted by applicable law for the stated purpose
We honor applicable suppression and preference requests.
4. Automated voice assistance
Calls may be answered, placed, or assisted by automated systems. Those systems may include speech recognition, language processing, and related capabilities. You may request a person when one is available; we will route or follow up as operationally feasible. Insurance advice and binding remain subject to licensed human authority where required.
5. Recording, transcription, and analysis
Where enabled, calls may be recorded, transcribed, summarized, or reviewed for service, quality, compliance, safety, and improvement of the Services. When law requires notice or consent, we provide disclosure and obtain consent through a script, prompt, keypad confirmation, or other clear method before treating the call as recorded for those purposes.
If you decline recording where consent is required, we may continue without recording if that is operationally permitted, offer another channel, or end the call.
6. Privacy
Audio, transcripts, metadata, and related records are handled under the Privacy Policy. Organizations that provide communications infrastructure may process call data as needed to deliver the experience.
7. Your choices
- Request a person when one is available
- Decline recording when a consent choice is offered
- End the call at any time
- Email support@insuriant.ai for privacy or preference requests
- For related text messages, see the Messaging Policy (STOP / HELP)
8. Emergency services
Voice numbers and softphone or automated calling features are not a substitute for emergency services unless a specific product expressly enables and documents emergency calling. Use local emergency numbers when you need emergency help.
9. Illustrative disclosures
- “You’re speaking with Insuriant AI. This call may be recorded and may use automated assistance for service and quality. May we continue?”
- “This is Insuriant AI returning your request about your insurance quote. If now is not a good time, we can schedule another call.”
Scripts may vary by product and jurisdiction.
